Doc I want whoever gives us the best chance
to win starting.

No qb has separated himself from the
pack yet everyone says Jordan is the best qb and there is no competition.

I think that is just as retarted as miles
signaling to spike the ball.

I did notice you are ignoring the stats. I also noticed you did not watch the spring game.

2008 YPC: 4.4
2009 YPC: 3.7

Ignoring these stats while trying to compare QBs is flat out stupid.

Sack yardage makes the 2009 YPC stat look worse fwiw. 3 sacks a game with an abnormally deep drop back.. ouch.

Scott: 4.7 ypc
Williams: 5.3 ypc
Ridley: 4.0 ypc
Shep: 6.2 ypc

Obviously a poor offensive line.

The stats from the last two seasons show lee is the better qb.

All 3 spring games stats shows lee is a better qb.

If you watch the spring game again notice lee go through his progressions for the first time in 3 years. This is the improvement he has made.

Jordan still stares
down one reciever the entire play and waits for him to get open.

I don't know how that could be when Jefferson has a better comp %, better TD to int ratio, and throws for about the same amount a yards per game.

(Wonder how the team got there?)

(Maybe you missed the post where most of those run TDs came from inside the 5 yd line with JLee.)

Maybe a RB was tackled from behind on a long run on the 5 yard line?

Lee's stats verses Jefferson was posted by the op.

You take the qb with the high completion percentage and I will take the one who scores more points.

I posted stats in another thread and the main debate is really if the OL was far worse in 2009 than 2008. It has already been pointed out Jefferson did a good job overall in hi first 2 starts as a true freshman.

I find it funny how everyone hated on the OL all season to now flip it like they were great and JJ sucks is hilarious.

The OL was bad. But Jefferson sure didn't help them.. our running backs posted decent stats too.

Scott: 4.7 ypc
Williams: 5.3 ypc
Ridley: 4.0 ypc
Shep: 6.2 ypc

I don't know how good those averages are considering the amount of garbage games on the schedule. Were they averaging that in the big games are boosting their averages on the shite teams.

PASSING Cmp-Att-Int
Jarrett Lee 143-269-16

#269 times he touched the ball, That's a 134 1/2 times he scored!

Damm i thought Tebow won the Heisman that year!!!

No its not. Had JJ not taken 34 sacks for 244 yds, then the rushing for 2009 would have been 1840 yds. About 25 yds per game different than '08.

Sorry, but two 1st downs a game arent the reason we were the worst offense in the SEC.

I cant believe this is even still being argued. The 2008 offensive line actually blocked, Lee would have noone within ten ft of him and still throw a pass right into the hands of the opposing cornerback. Do you even remember the alabama game in 2008? Lee threw 4 frickin interceptions...4, that is unforgettable. Lee lost that game singlehandedly. Also dont give me lee's 2009 stats, thats the dumbest thing i've ever heard, he came in for mop up duty and LA Tech(Completion % for that game?), any half assed quarterback can score points against the teams he faced

They blitzed the frick out of lee
in 2008.

Les miles
said the 2009 Line was our best.

Jordan did not do shite in any of the 3
spring games
with the first team o line. He just
stares
down one reciever.

Pay attention to him and stop following
the
ball.

La tech is better than our second team d.

CS stats were effected by teams stacking the box, due to the fact that JJ hasn't shown to be a deep ball threat.

This. But without reading past the first few posts in this thread, I have no doubt that TheDoc and his fellow JJ apologist Rooad are in here touting JJ's passing percentage for all the only-throw-five yards-when-the-receiver-is-wide-arse-open-passes that he completed. If you only throw the afore-mentioned passes, taking sacks the rest of the time, it's easy to pad your stats. I have said it before-I was mad at the 2008 picks, but at least it was offset by some big plays, while the entire 2009 season was just numbing and nauseating to watch. Give me the high risk/high reward, with our improved defense, rather than a repeat of last year's slow, painful death. Knowing what kind of playmakers we have, and watching them running wide open while JJ is fading back into yet another sack is not something I care to see anymore of.
