Will he gain 25 lbs. and lose a 1/2 second on his forty (exaggeration) like every other young rb from the past?

vincent gained weight and got slower and so did keiland. I personally hope Ford stays around 210. there is no need for him to be 230-235.

the question: is the strength program responsible for this or the individual players?

As long as he stays away from Bogie's he'll be alright.

the kid arrived in better shape than most. He knows how to work out and it would appear after one year that he is still very lean although he does have some mass.
I expect he will be like Addai, he will get stronger, he will learn his craft well, and he will quietly carry the load......

Yeah, seems like a lot of LSU backs have gained weight and slowed in their later years. Good post. I have often wondered what is up with this. If it is our strength program, Ware is in trouble. He's already huge

He was one of the strongest guys pound for pound last year so I really don't see why he needs to gain weight since he is already a good size.

Doesn't need to gain any weight, looks to be 210. Ridley is the big back 235. Let's hope Ridley loses 5 lbs.
