We lost to UNC and it was in the 32 I think.

And yeah we beat A&m, then Texas, then Duke.

nope.

We beat Iona in the 1st round, A&M in the 2nd, Duke in the Sweet 16, and Texas in the Elite 8.

That was a harsh reminder LSU basketball will never succeed in the final four.

They had a really good guard combo that year didn't they? I think we won by twenty or something but it was closer than it looked if I remember correctly.

03/23/06 LSU-62 Duke-54 [NCAA Tournament - Sweet 16]

I believe that's the last time we played them.

ETA. LSU's 2006 NCAA games:

03/16/06 LSU-80 Iona-64 [NCAA Tournament]
03/18/06 LSU-58 Texas A&M-57 [NCAA Tournament]
03/23/06 LSU-62 Duke-54 [NCAA Tournament - Sweet 16]
03/25/06 LSU-70 Texas-60 [OT] [NCAA Tournament - Elite 8]
04/01/06 LSU-45 UCLA-59 [NCAA Tournament - Final 4]

Just my observation on Duke is they are a great program to play for, they never have the best players per say but they do get well rounded players who play hard and smart ball players who don't try to do anything they can't do, but the one area that stands out is they always get a lot of big guys who are not the best but take up space to go with there play makers, and that's what makes them tough.

Well if this is true and judging by your observation, you should not give your insight on basketball topics.

Well that's what I see on most Duke teams not all but most like this yr they Zoubek the Plumlee brothers and Kelly, they have big bodies that wear you down, that's allI'm saying

This is their biggest team in some time now. They are always undersized and thats what has hurt them the last 5 years.

I don't know how we scored 45 against UCLA. We only had like 23 or something with 10 minutes left.

Last year's team beat essentially the same Butler team that's headed to the Final4 FWIW.
