What's up with the spear in the LSU dugout?

I watched the video in the link in the "Mainieri mic'd up" thread and saw them goofing around with a spear hanging on the dugout wall.
Does anyone know the story of the spear?

I don't know...but Renaudo kinda seemed like a dick when he was telling Mahtook to put it back.

Yeah, I saw that. Pitchers always are the most superstitious players.......except for hitters.

Doing fine so far. Back to work. One cardiologist told him he was okay to go back to work. I suppose he will either make it or not. Thanks for asking.

Yeah, Mahtook had the spear, Renaudo reminded him about where the spear was when the Tigers scored the 7 runs and then Didier put the spear back on the dugout wall.
