I'm going hiking in Tunica on Saturday. Are there any good places around there that I may be able to sit outside at (We're taking the dog, and would like to be outside to keep an eye on him while we eat.)? I tried googling St. Francisville restaurants, but I was unimpressed with the results.

Magnolia is the only thing I can think off the top of my head. They don't have a website but here's their facebook page.

Too bad Sammy's isn't there anymore.

The Mag is the best. If you're in the mood for pizza, try Sonny's. And there's a new place called "Sister's" or "8 sister's"- something like that. They have good shrimp poboys and such.

Roadside BBQ is decent, but that's actually closer to Zachary.

Sonny's pizza burrito's are really good in my opinion.

Also, Audubon cafe (think that is the name of it) has really good burgers. They bun is a wheat bun that is a little sweet.

George's (same as baton rouge) is solid also.

Ate at Sammy's in Zachary and wasn't that impressed with their shrimp poboy. Not sure about their other stuff.

Little shack near the exxon station right before you get to Thompson Creek called Chu-Chus has really good homemade corndogs.

Oxbow is my favorite, but it is a little nicer than most of the others listed, but i would think you would be fine in shorts for lunch, not sure about the pooch, no outside dining

I always get the French Dip and Sensation Salad with sweet tea. The chicken pesto pizza is my second favorite meal. Also, the Birdman coffee shop is right in front of the Mag, they have great coffee, if you're into that sort of thing.
