Help me out. I did a search and court of two sisters is not getting much love. Also mentioned was muriels (sp).
So far my plans are WWII museum and eating at beshes place in museum for lunch. Dinner is still open and I would like brunch Sunday morning.

I've been to Muriel's brunch several times in the past year and it's always solid. I like the food, the atmosphere and the location. I can walk it all off in Jackson Square for a while, after we eat. I'm going there for brunch again, in a few weeks.

This is probably sacrilegious, but I ate brunch at Commander's and then at Muriel's within a short period and I liked Muriel's better, though both were really very good. Either would work.

Do not go to Palace Cafe, in my opinion one of the most over rated places in the entire city

I like their brunch-reasonably priced, varied menu, nice setting.

Commander's is the best IMO, but I don't know what you're looking to spend.

If you are going to stay downtown/quarter Arnaud's is by far the best.

Staying at marriot by convention center. Reservations recommended? As far as money we will be eating three meals
Lunch

American sector

dinner

this depends on if I do brunch in the am or not. No brunch thinking of one of beshes places. If we decide on brunch may look for less expensive casual dinner.

I'm not well versed yet in new orleans dining, but I went to a little french place called Cafe Degas for brunch one day and it was yummmmmmyyyy. Had a reallyyy good belgian waffle and a mimosa -- great start to my day!

The Ruby Slipper is excellent! Not sure if they do reservations. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes, but it wasn't expensive and the food was great! Mimosas were supurb!
