Carter was too small and played for class B Reserve Christian. Seems like ages ago when he was in 8th grade I was coaching basketball back in Louisiana.

I watched about 30 seconds of that game.. Dunn stood out in those 30 seconds, idk if he could play the game, he just stood out physically.

Tweety dropped 30 on us in the first half of a varsity game as an 8th grader at a jamboree. Kid was ridiculously good. I couldn't believe he was that young at the time.

Brady was too busy driving to Oregon to recruit Ben Voogd.

Wasn't Brady putting all of his eggs in the DJ Augustin basket?

We had one scholarship that year and we went after DJ Augustin 100%.

Demond Carter committed to Baylor extremely early, at the beginning of his junior year. Don't think he wanted to go to LSU anyway.

Dunn and Storm Warren had some pretty good battles on the court.

Yes LSU wanted Dunn in the worst way and struck out. I'm not sure how the Tweety Carter script went. I know I said at the time it was a huge mistake not to try and get his signature. I could care less how small he is, the guy is a player.

Dunn's an offensive stopper anyway. Had 2 assists all of last year. I like some of what he can do but I'm not sold on him. Carter can play though.

That was last year. And it's hard to argue with a guy who is the second leading scorer in the Big 12 and is easily the league's best 3 point shooter. Wait till next year. Dunn will be senior and the highlight of a top 25 team. More people will know who he is nationally.

Yes he would have, I dont claim to have inside knowledge of the situation but it was well known, at least around Br. Martin, that DJ didnt like the way Brady used pointguards and didnt want to go there. The hurricane didnt change this, DJ just didnt like Brady.
