Boiled Shrimp in Houston

Has anyone ever heard of a place in Houston that serves boiled shrimp thrown right on the table (sort of like boiled crawfish are served)?
My future Grandfather in-law always talks about this place he would frequent when he used to travel to Houston (several years ago), but he doesn't know the name.
Any ideas?

There is only one place I know of in Houston that has decent boiled seafood and they aren't throwing anything on the table.
It may be time to start shopping for assisted living homes for pops.

He actually has a pretty bad case of Alzheimer's, so every time we visit he tells me about this place as if it was the first time he was telling me. I just thought it'd be nice to actually find a place that would do this, but I haven't been successful so far.

Momma's Cajun cafe off of 290 on Barker Cypress. I think the guy is from Covington. There is rumored to be a place out by the ship channel that does em right also but I haven't made it out there yet to confirm.
Everywhere else is a fraud.
