MW2 Vet thinking of getting BBC2

Will BC2 make me stop playing MW2? Or do you switch and play both?

Switching back and forth is tough. I switch between MAG and MW2 and it takes me a few games of each, to get used to it after playing the other game.

Short answer....No.
Long answer. It will not stop you from playing MW2 because nothing can replace COD:MW2.

That's what you're hoping for anyway

My opinion. Even if all of you switch games, I'll still play MW2. When the next COD comes out, it will start over again.

havent played online but from what i've heard online isnt as good as MW2 but not bad. i played the campaign however at my buddies house and the BC2 campaign is much much better than MW2's campaign.

WHAT DID YOU SAY?
You, you sir, you take that back. right now. i demand it.
but seriously, i like BFBC2. I like playing with the crew we have and i doubt I'd like playing alone, but I will imagine as soon as the new maps come out we will all be switching baack.
but's it a fun change of pace for sure.

never said that MW2 campaign wast good just didnt have any actual story. you just went from one badass mission to the next. by the end of the game i didnt even really know why i was doing what i was. sure, doing things like scailing a mountain with ice picks is cool, but you get to do the same thing types of things with BC2 but with a pretty cool story and some funny (as far as games go) characters.

If the COD4 was the game in question, then I would say no it won't replace it
but seeing as MW is old news, and MW2 is the latest arrival my answer is different.
MW2=total frick up of a good game (COD4)
so yes, you may find yourself staying away

Agreed. MW2 is shite compared to COD4

From the 15 minutes of the campaign Ive played it sucks. I have actually controlled my guy and shot someone about 3 minutes of it.Its like watchin a movie thus far.

If you're more into working with a team and playing a role, you'll like BBC2 better. Its a more tactical than Mw2. I just played a couple hours with a really good team and it was a blast. Medics running around healing and reviving, snipers were spotting for us and calling in mortars. It took me a while to get used to playing a Battlefield game again but once I got MW2 playing style out of my system its amazing

BC2 is a totally different style. If you like the idea of driving tanks, flying helos, and precision mortar drops; then you may like BC2.
I couldnt get enough MW2 but havent played in a couple weeks due to BC2. The graphics arent quite as good but the games can be more epic and the tactical side is much more advanced. Playing with friends and competant squads is absolutley unbelievable in BC2 and with a few minor tweaks to the party system it will only get better.

only drawback of this game. not sure why they didn't think that 12 people might actually want to play together, believe it or not.

since that didn't really make much sense i'm not sure what you're trying to say about the game. what i got, was that you don't think there is enough action and too many cutscenes. well, play more that 15 minutes and you will find there are missions that last nearly 45 minutes or more to finish. it's a much larger campaign game than MW2.
I beat MW2 in about 8 hours and played BC2 all day yesterday and am still playing. anyway, having said that i will slay anyone in MW2 online... fungusamungus88

Personally I think BC2 is slower paced because the maps are alot bigger, and on BC2 everyone camps the vehicles waiting for a chopper so if you move to the enemy rear deployment you get an assload of kills every time
Posted on 3/10/10 at 1:15 pm to tigerbaitfan13
I haven't played MW2 since BFBC2 came out.
