Let's Finish...

"We were so close in so many games. I think maybe the real feel is finish. Let's finish these games, let's finish at Alabama, let's finish against Penn State, let's finish against Ole Miss, let's finish. I think our team has a bit of that nagging at them..." Les Miles 3/2/10
Strange that Les should mention finish as the cause of the less than stellar season, and in particular highlight two games where the failure to finish was all his. To me this just smells of Les (as usual) placing the responsibility for the outcome on the players instead of the Man in the Glass.

Im not even big fan of les but people who reach like this annoy the crap out of me
Let's = let us
fwiw
us = The objective form of we.
we = we (w)
pron.
1. Used by the speaker or writer to indicate the speaker or writer along with another or others as the subject
2. Used to refer to people in general, including the speaker or writer
Les may have fricked up but im not going to act like the players dont shoulder some of the blame

We only lost 4 games last year. 3 of them we had legitimate shots at winning. Bama health played a major factor. The other two coaching played a major factor. I don't blame him for saying "let us finish. I don't think he is passing the buck off himself. The man has faults, but he is very loyal to LSU, its players and his fellow coaches.

It all started in the first game too. Remember all the criticism that LSU fans gave the team for allowing Washington to just stroll up the field and score a td in the closing seconds? We were called out for being ridiculous for complaining about that - that "we won the game what are you bitching about".
Well, the rest is history and that seemed to be a huge defect that the team had all rest of last season. And in a few cases, it wasn't that LSU still won the game, it was that LSU pissed away a chance at beating Bama, Ole Miss, Penn State, and damn near Georgia.

You are right bout that.
The bitching, moaning, and feet stomping by some started in the 1st game and is still going on 3 months after the season is over.
Some just never pass on a chance to :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse:

Yeah see the first response to this thread was pointing out that les was refering to "us" (not throwing responsibility all on the players) and used grammar in his case... The second poster is just being a douche inserting punctuation...
