I know I HATE when I hear a movie is going to be insanely awesome or an "instant classic" because it ruins it. People did this to me for the Dark Knight. What movies has it ruined for you movie/tv boarders?

Christmas Vacation, I saw it with a GF in college and hated it, but since then I think it is OK.

I usually don't discuss a movie or read reviews until after I've seen something just for that reason. I try to go into every movie with even expectations.

Avatar. Other than being an orgasm for my eyes it was entirely too predictable.
