Does anyone think lsu fans kinda suck lately?

And by lately, I mean the last 4 years?
I love lsu, but they are the biggest bunch of goddamned bandwagoners I've ever seen.
It seems like there's an inferiority comlex, like we want to make sure were better than everyone else (mainly rankings wise) but the effort isn't there, as a REAL ACTUAL fan, to attain it.
Bottom line, we could do a lot better

Find any objective measure of fans' performance. Attendance, merchandise sales, donations, etc. Whatever combination of those you want to use is fine. Then rank the performance of LSU fans and compare that ranking to the final ranking of our teams (football, mainly, but you can use all-sports rankings if you want). In something like 45-48 of the last 50 years (and without a doubt in both of the last two years), the fans rank higher.
Evaluating LSU and deciding that its fans are its weak point is like evaluating Barack Obama and deciding that his greatest fault is that he's not tall enough.

I think it is like all the fans who tailgate and then don't go to the actual football game or leave in the 3rd quarter. They are more concerned with the spectical of it all and having a good time then supporting the team.
To many people think they are bigger than LSU and that LSU should make them feel good about themself.

Yeah try to take this with the smallest amount of racism as possible but the student section the past couple of years are filled with Indian/middle eastern people who do nothing but talk shite about lsu and continuously say how they don't even like lsu and they hope so and so gets hurt....
And the leaving early? I'm only 21 but I remember back in the 90's the stadium Was ALWAYS packed, win or lose

LSU fans have become spoiled and have become the biggest crybabies. Oh the traffic is bad we better leave at halftime even with the game on the line. I used to go to all the LSU games and never left unless lsu was up by 3o in the 4th. It sickens me now to watch my tigers on t.v. and to see half the stadium empty and then to come on here and listen to all the excuses people make. LSU fans by far in recent years biggest crybabies around.

just saying if your gonna bitch about the coaching then most fans need to look in the mirror and bitch about themselves as well. Wish i was still down there to show some try support. I dragged my family to orlando to the cap-one bowl in freezing rain and we stayed till the very bitter ending because i don't see my tigers much anymore so i wasn't leaving.

Correct. I have always said the NEW breed of LSU fans are spoiled rotten, and aren't even satisfied with a title in 2003 cause they are jealous that USC won the AP title. They still talk about this shite 7 years later. Bottom Line is that most LSU fans will never be satisfied.
