he's 70-30 lsu right now but i wouldn't expect him to commit soon.

don't be so sure about not going anywhere else although he should be considered a moderate lean to lsu.. like i said 70 30 maybe more around 60 40.

i get that, but you throw out arbitrary numbers without saying why you feel that way. Put it this way, there are few posters on this site I "trust". So for all the other claims, its nice to at least know how they can across the info (nothing specific).

What is he looking for that LSU cant offer. Or why is he so nuetral. I mean on paper you would think this kid was a lock considering all the connections and location.

Odell wasn't happy simply because he wasn't as good as he was supposed to be. He wouldn't have been happy anywhere. From what I know, he doesn't have any ill feelings towards LSU. He's a great guy and a good up and coming young coach. He knows that Louisiana is where he has name recognition. He's not going to ruin that by sending his son out of state.
My favorite story about him is that he is featured in the book "Friday Night Lights." When Odessa Permian is about to play against him, one of their defensive players pukes pre-game because he is so nervous about have to face Odell.
