really, I don't even know why they offer. Let's see, 95% of the state started hating USC in 2004. That would put Greg at 12 or 13.

Maybe that is just me that thinks that, but USC offering might be even a longer shot than a kid going to Bama.

but according to the TD theory. any time USC or Bama shows interest in a kid, his stock goes up. So I'm all for it.

Ive read he has interest in AU and bama. Who knows, but I will be suprised if all these big time LA kids end up at LSU.

I'm not sure that that's necessarily the case. The only thing that I've heard come out of the kid's mouth is that an LSU offer isn't the be-all-end-all. I get the impression he's one that will go down to signing day and even if he does commit sooner, there could be smoke until the first Wednesday of February.

That woulndt suprise me. Reed going to Auburn will make it easier for him to leave as well.

He has said numerous times that he heavily favors LSU and that he was going to take visits to Bama and Auburn plus some others before commiting. He's never said anything about favoring anyone outside of LSU.I personally don't think Reed has any impact on him.Even most Auburn guys realize this. Some are seriously not giving the pull that Wilson has in South LA enough credit. It's going to be very hard to pull a kid from South LA while he's at LSU.He will not have a lapse in the contact area that some of our coaches did last year.He and Gonzales are 2 guys that will stay on guys heavily throughout the process.

Louisiana kids head out of state when other programs offer better opportunities to advance to the NFL and to win a league and/or BCS championship.
Another dump by Mr Miles this year and some kids will head out of state.

Last decade, LSU was the top 5 school to sent kids to the NFL (also top 10 in 1st Round Pick)

Okay calm down guys. Greg is likely not going to drag this thing out. He has mentioned LSU as his leader from start. In fact he says his visit yesterday helped him get closer to a decision. This makes me feel pretty good for the Tigers chances. Rather good actually.
