That is all true. But, his only offers are MS State, Tulane, and Tulsa…Which is not that impressive for a DT of his size, weight, and strength as a Jr. in H.S.
He just received a writen offer from Tenn. too. Once Mickey hits the circuit his offers will increase for sure. You heard it Sonny, 440 bench 720 squat. His coaches say a sub 5 forty and he has a nastiness to him. I would think come July he will be looking at 15-20 offers and one from LSU to boot. I like this kid a lot.

Well UTenn is impressive...
Another thing that your interview brought out was a solid family background, excellent character traits, and humility.
That's a striking contrast to Ryan Perrilloux. I'm sure you remember all of his pious comments and arrogance during recruiting and signing day. You know the rest of the story...next came trouble.
I was thinking today that Miles has been shying away from that type of kid ever since. And, that may be why we did not offer Sentimore sooner and Lacy at all. They "may" have shared some tendencies with Perrilloux!
Miles seems to place much more emphasis on character since the Perrilloux fiasco.
Did you get that impression of M. Johnson? That he does have great character?

I like this kid too.
Remind me of Glenn Dorsey.
I don't know what the LSU coaches are waiting for. May be they haven't learn the D. Sentimore lesson yet.

You guys have a really great show and hearing the recruits over the phone adds a whole new aspect to this recruiting thing.
I want to encourage Chicken to keep allowing you to post your interviews/link to SEC Rage on TigerDroppings as it will definitely increase his hits and thus, his advertising revenue.
Hearing a recruit speak about his plans, tell what schools that are interested, and expand our knowledge about him only increases the fervor and desire to know more about them before they make their decision and/or sign their letter of intent.
You can tell so much more about a prospect by listening to them speak than you could ever find out by going to one of these pay sites.
I have to say I got a great feel for M. Johnson by listing to him be interviewed. Anyone that is a recruiting fan like I am, owes it to them self to listen to the top LSU prospects. It is definitely a treat.
What was also neat/cool...was that I typed in several questions on TigerDroppings Recruiting Board's SEC Rage thread and they asked M. Johnson the question that I just posted. This has got to be good for Chicken's hits. It looks like a win-win situation. Best of both worlds.
I have only listened to one show, but I am hooked now. Good luck to you guys.
And, Chicken, if you read this, I hope you let these guys continue because you have got to be a pretty good business man to do as well as you have done already. And, this is good for business!
