Crispin Glover could totally revitalize his career by playing the Riddler.

I won't believe a word of it unless the studio or Nolan says something. Any remote rumor on this film and IGN will do an article on it.

When Urban Cowboy 2 with Ben Savage and William Zabka comes out, then I believe this will, too.

One of the highest grossing movies of all time. Though it might not be with Nolan, I can guarantee this movie is coming out. No studio is going to pass up on this cash cow.

I think glover flipped when he didn't get the joker. I doubt he gets the riddler

All of this sounds like crap Nolan wouldn't do. Connecting his universe to Superman in any form or fashion is just plain stupid.

I'm not shooting the messenger though, it's always fun to see the crazy shite people come up with.

I just don't see how The Riddler or Penguin or any other villain would work in the Nolan Batman universe. I mean, the Joker was stretching it. But he was a one off. A freak. This is supposed to be "realistic." There aren't going to be a bunch of these types running around.

And I swear to God, if Dick Grayson shows up in any form in a Nolan Batman I'll . . . I'll . . . well, shite. I'll just be royally pissed and boycott the damn picture. So there.

The Riddler won't work if he is some clown running around wearing a mask and a costume covered in question marks. he should probably remain unseen until the end of the movie. possible plot or sub-plot:
heinous crimes are being committed in Gotham and the only clues are these riddles can seem "un-solvable." To put an end to this mystery criminal, Batman must team up w/ Gordon and Fox to collectively solve the riddles and stop the crimes before they occur. Batman comes out of hiding and must also fight off the GPD trying to arrest/kill him.
that's just me spit-balling.

its fricking Batman, I don't care how hard you try nothing is "realistic" about it. You have a guy in a batsuit with cool gadgets. I don't know about you but I haven't walked around and seen anyone like that lately.

Any of the villians in Batman could be explained in his "realistic" universe.

Batman Begins was pretty "realistic." The Dark Knight wasn't, especially with the sonar stuff.

So you're saying that the Nolan Batman are on par with Adam West and Joel Schumacher? Right.....

These Batman movies are crime dramas that just happen to have a masked vigilante in them.

They are NOTHING like any other Batman before. And, yes, if you start bringing the Riddler or Penguin into this Batman universe, you are harming it. It is not realistic for what has been established.

Who all thinks that the Joker was supposed to be the villain in more than one film?

I mean, he did survive.

Ledger dying threw a monkey wrench in the third film.

I think an extremely narcissistic murdering riddler would work well

I don't even see why they have to use a regular Batman villain. Where is it written that you have to use a villain from the Batman universe?

Just create something new. These two movies have reinvented Batman. Just do what's best. Don't settle. Don't make a subpar film just so you can keep a villain that comes from the Dark Knight history book.

I was hoping two face would have come back, but they killed him in the second one. I could see the Riddler working in the movie though, depending on who gets it

I've said it before, I have already accepted the concept that a 3rd Batman movie won't be as good as TDK. I am, however, anticipating a solid attempt at a good script/plot/story. I am going to be extremely disappointed if there are appearances or mentions of Robin, Catwoman, Penguin, Clayface, Superman, Ventriloquist, etc.
