Tulame's band marched in the Saints parade on Tuesday. I TigerBaited them along with everybody in the vicinity. BTW their band was the smallest that marched.

Yea ya right! But, did you notice? toolame's band now has uniforms. Last I remember, they had just tee shirts. They may be building into a real band.

I saw them coming and said to myself surely the people that put this parade together wouldn't lower themselves by putting Tulane's band in it. Think about it, We had the best floats from the best parades, St. Augustines Marching 100 (who marched in the Macy's parade this year, and who have played at the Rose Bowl), and many more great things from the city. Then out of nowhere Tulane's band comes marching along..Turrible.

I am in no way putting down Tulane as a school. ..just as a football team and band.

Over the years (thru 1997 my last Mardi Gras before moving from N.O.) the LSU Band has marched in Bacchus several times usually in front of or behind the King's float. And I do remember the Tiger Band in Rex at least once.

like I said, since atleast 2001, the only times the band was in a MG parade was Rex after each NC

pretty powerful last night in Bacchus (or was it Toth? long day....). Lots of energy and huge hoard following them down the neutral ground and opposite side street. I did not see any slippage.

I was the only one tigerbaiting them where I was, right in front of the dome on Poydras. But yeah that is one lame band.

In 1984, Tiger Band marched in Bacchus to make their first appearance in a Mardi Gras parade. Since then they have marched in Bacchus and Rex but do not participate every year. As many know, the krewes pay the bands and the Tiger Band fee is the most expensive, as it should be.

This is true. The high school bands put them to shame!
