Put the frozen jambalaya directly into the microwave, cover with a paper towel, and heat thru quickly on high. You should have good firm grains that are well seperated. If it's been in the freezer more than a few months, I throw it away.

I would think that a firm rice like Uncle Bens would freeze the best.

If good jambalaya has been in the freezer a few months, what the hell is wrong? Good jambalaya should be eaten faster than that.
