It's almost like people forget the times Trindon Holliday got banged up returning kicks/punts and missed some time. Would some of you be willing Peterson miss a game or two because he gets injured returning kicks/punts? We could afford it with Holliday because he was used minimally on offense. Peterson is our starting corner and only one that has proven to be really good.

it's like some people forget our starting running backs returning punts and being very good at it while never missing games either, and still being among the top of the league leaders in rushing

Trindon was about 160 lbs and was not a true football player. He would get hurt regardless of the position he played. He was just a fast guy with no balance and only some agility. He would go down with a arm tackle or by tripping on his own feet.

Which is exactly why I'd have Russell Shepard handling the duties. He's quite possibly the fastest, most elusive player on the team....isn't a big part of the offense (unfortunately)....and can be electric with a head of steam.

Personally, I think he would be the better choice over Peterson. Not knocking PP at all. He's arguably the most talented on the team.....AT HIS POSITION. But RS is at least as fast as him, and probably has more moves than him.

BTW....I know Trindon is gone. Just wanted to rile up the rantards. The shite some of them come up with is hilarious, to say the least.
