T.J.: What are some of the things that you like about LSU?
A.W.: Coach Miles is an awesome man. He’s a player’s coach. They also have a new receivers’ coach, Coach (Billy) Gonzalez. He just came there from the Florida Gators. He coached Percy Harvin and has a great track record in sending receivers to the NFL. The facilities at LSU are top notch and The Cox Community Center is incredible. That’s where they tutor the football players. The coaches guaranteed me playing time as a true freshman.
T.J.: What are some of your freshman Goals?
A.W.: To be a freshman All-American and to be named All- Conference.

Shocked at both statements in bold but...let's see it!

I hope all freshman are give the opportunity to compete. If they're better than the upperclassmen, then play em.

I wish he was going to be a Hog...but I don't think he would have played at Arky as a freshman, maybe deep on the chart...let alone be a freshman all-american...

I hope he does well though

Will be good one. Dont know about Freshman All-America.

In fact- i want to keep track of him this year, to see how much he actually does contribute

He must have meant the coaches have a want for him to have playing time hiw freshman year...

But seriously, I hope he is this good. Would be nice to see a fresh crop come in a be heavy contributors.

Even after his workouts were recorded? Anyone that saw his film and measurables and dogged you is of questionable intelligence.

He committed then decommitted within a 2 week span. So I assume whatever info was available after his decommittment was the same before it, due to small time span

I said the second part, but not the first. I never understood people being down on a kid with great measureables AND athletic ability. Sure there's a chance he's got stone hands, but with the physical tools, we can always find a place for him.

I say if he can play the part, come in and start, more power to him. He has some work to pass up upperclassmen, as well as Wright, Fobbs, and Boone. I think any of our freshmen that we got could easily step in and take the 3rd receiver spot

I don't like how our coaches are lying to recruits. Armand said they are not redshirting ANY of the incoming WRs.

We may not be able to redshirt any of the incoming receivers. after tolliver and randle, we get really skinny at receiver.

We have Jhyrn Taylor, John Williams, and Deangelo Peterson can be split out wide as a WR/TE. I would redshirt two if not three of the WRs we signed in this class.

We do have a new WR coach that should help that group quite a bit. I hope they all get the chance to play, but I do think Jhryn Taylor will step it up this year.

Yall just arent seeing the big picture. Its a mixture of both having a thin receiving corps next year, and about being able to create some separation between the large number of receivers we will have coming in next year. We have such a loaded state next year, there is no doubt in my mind the coaches want to take at least 3 if not 4 receivers next class, and will only be able to do that with some separation between this class and next. That way he can guarantee Landry/and one other receiver next class to not be redshirted, but then can redshirt two of the other incoming 2011 freshmen
