Sorry if Germans.... with everyting going on this weekend wasn't sure if many caught Trindon's performance in the Hall of Fame Texas vs. The Nation game...

He won offensive MVP...

Some stats.

The Texas offense was led by LSU all-purpose threat Trindon Holliday who had 209 yards of total offense, including a pair of touchdowns. He had a 67-yard touchdown reception from Jacksonville State/LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux, who led all passers with 137 yards through the air. Holliday later add a two-yard run and 133 total return yards. His efforts earned him Offensive Player of the Game honors.

Me either...

Some of the notables Texas starters were Charles Alexander DT LSU , Chris Hawkins CB LSU, Tindon Holliday SP, RB, WR LSU.....

During the game they said...Texas team was made up of players who played in Texas...

I guess the criteria is that they played a game in Texas at some point?????

yes, he did.

'09 #1 all purpose yds.
'08 #2 all purpose yds. (Scott #1)
'07 #2 all purpose yds. (Hester #1)
'06 #6 all purpose yds. (behind Doucet, Davis, Bowe, Hester and Williams)

as you can see, Trindon Holliday got plenty of touches at LSU. problem was, Trindon, being a world class track athlete, kept his participation in spring practice to a minimum. this, in turn, rerstricted his role to mostly punt and kick returns. if he dedicates himself to football he may make some noise at the next level.

I feel like the biggest thing is our players having to pick up Texas's slack. LA =/= Texas

He went in to run the same plays that opposing teams saw on tape from previous games. With only 3 - 4 plays, easy to figure out what was going to happen.

kind of like the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame...if your mom changed your diaper at a Denny's while passing through the state, you qualify.
