Look at the Les Miles first and second year and you will see why we have been down. Now the couple of years have been real strong and will bring LSU back!
Great point! Obviously, recruiting in his first year or two after Saban left was a little difficult. Many recruits, like a lot of Tiger fans, were unsure of Miles and feared that LSU would fall off post-Saban. It took at least two great seasons, and winning the NC in 2007, for Miles to prove that the program is still strong and an SEC/NC contender. That's what gets the top recruits to seriously consider playing for LSU.
The fact that Miles can recruit so well after two very disappointing seasons shows how great a recruiter he is and that a lot of great recruits are not as negative about LSU's future under Miles as a lot of our own fans are.
Maybe they understand that LSU's problems the last two years revolve around the quarterback issues and are confident that, once that is sorted out, LSU will be right back in the SEC/NC hunt.
