I made a point of making every home game that year, my dad had given me season tickets and after Katrina I was able to trade out for those games.

Oh I didn't go to New York but that was a bs "home" game.

I still have the "San Antonio Saints shirt" I bought before the Atlanta game.

yes lots of bandwagon fans here. not as delusional as the rant but still a bad case of the shits here.

There are a lot of true fans here though. I can remember posting back when they first got the Saints talk-2008. We had a lot of good fans on this board. I can remember after Katrina hit there was questions about supporting the SAINTS if they ever moved to L.A. or San Antonio. I was honest and said I'd change my team to the CHIEFS or some other southern team like HOUSTON. Well I still changed my team to the Chiefs.lol. But A lot of hard core SAINTS fans said they'd STILL support the SAINTS no matter what city they moved to. And no I can't remember the names of all the people that said that but it was a lot.

I would of supported the Saints even if they moved to Columbia. Houston would have been my other team. I would cut my nuts off before I would ever cheer for the cowboys. no offense Chaz

I haven't looked at the rest of this thread, but this was discussed when Benson was playing his games. It's a horrible idea for so many reasons. Now that Benson has his deal, it's a non-issue.

Don't forget Georgia, because there are quite a few people displaced here because of Katrina. We have to pay outragous beer prices to watch them in a sports bar with no sound.

Seriously????? It's the New Orleans Saints!!

I'm from outside of NO, but I can tell you first hand that when I was growing up, everyone was a Cowboys fan. Most of the long-time Saints fans are from the city itself. Most of the new crowd is from the rest of the state. I'm the exception... I was at the Miami game in Tiger Stadium. You might remember me. I was the one guy sitting down when they announced Saban's name.

Where were these fans when there was only 20,000 people in tiger stadium?

+1000. I don't understand why Baton Rouge and Lafayette always get off so easy and everybody bashes only Shreveport.

Baton Rouge - nice job on like 2,000 people going to a Hornets/Suns game you preppy chain-restaurant eating assholes.
