I remember when I played high school ball Tweety Carter I think he was a 8th grader at the time. He put up 50+ points on us. Reserve Christian was Class B team and my school New Iberia was a 5A school. That was an embrassing moment.

Mac Campbell- Alabama high school career rushing record and number 13 all-time nationally. Never played a down in college because he never could qualify for any colleges.

Troy Jones and Jeff Singleton at Acadiana High.

Against Cedric Figaro, also attended Catholic school with him. He was a beast in every sport even at a young age.

Played in 8th grade with Kevin Faulk's deceased brother Gerald, he was a very good RB, had all the tools.

Went to school with Aeneas Williams, Maurice Hurst, Rufus Porter, Jerry Wilson, and Avery Johnson (NBA) at Southern. I took classes with all but Avery and Aeneas.

Oh, and I played basketball against the late Kim Perrot (WNBA) at the MLK Rec. Center in Truman. Attended elementary and high school with her. She always killed cats on the court, . . . got to the point where no one wanted to guard her.

Best in high school Tommy Banks/Jerome King/Adam McConathy

Tommy was definitely the best of that group IMO. I graduated with Jerome's older brother, Shawn and he was a way better athlete. All-State in football, basketball and won the 4A state title in the high jump his junior and senior year. If I remember right he jumped 6'10" at 220 lbs. We all remember his time at LSU?

George Teague who played at Alabama. He made two of my favorite plays of all time: the strip of Lamar Thomas in the 93 Sugar Bowl, blindsided Terrell Owens when Owens ran to midfield and danced on the star.

The Strip- 1993 Sugar Bowl
Owens gets what he deserved...

Well Jawara White was our olb at my high school this year and played with Zacheus Etheredge 4 years ago who was the starting safety at AU. My freshman year in the 3rd round we got killed by AJ McCarton, Destin Hood, Ivan Matchett, and Mark Barron. That was one hell of a sight!!!

played against: Auburn WR Darvin Adams he played at the rival school. Dan Foose who is now playing on the U.S. team against the world

Played with: It's hard to say because not enough time has gone by. However, if i was forced to pick i'd have to say Bryce Ros (over-rated). he ended up at UGA and had to "retire" because of a toe injury from hs. Or a DT named daniel Hallman (his dad used to play for auburn). hallman is in jc and wants to transfer to auburn he got alot of playing time as a true freshman at jc. His dad was all sec back in the 80's.
