For those of you who say no, I want you to go look up Steve Youngs numbers and compare them to Kurt Warner. There isn't much of a difference.

Absolutely. He is one of the most underrated quarterbacks of all time. 124GM 2,666-4,070 65.5% 32,344Yards 208TD 128INT

His stats are better than most HOF QBs, plus 2 MVPs and 1 SB Ring, and a SB MVP.

I think Steve Young is a step above Warner -- OK, maybe half a step.

I also think Warner will make the hall -- only maybe his New York hiatus keeping him out.

If they looked past Steve Young and Doug Williams stints in Tampa, then they will look past Warners in New York.

Young was a rookie and second year pro in Tampa. Warner was in the middle of his career in NY, so that makes a lot of difference. I'm not saying Warner won't make the hall -- but his New York time will count against him.

FYI, D Williams ain't close to being in the hall.

He may be in for this but not for a career like Montana or Marino.

If Warren Moon got in, so should Warner.

Warren Moon made Houston and they probably counted some of his transition from CFL. The Houston team that Moon had early were awful. If Rodney Harrison doesnt go low like a bastard on Greene we are discussing if Trent Greene is HOF'er. I think that right there tells us that Warner isnt.

Earl Campbell was already retired. They brought in Hugh forgot his last name to coach after wrecking the franchise. Houston was an after thought again, even after Manning went there.

No. Moon was good but not great. He didn't make the Oilers. He played in an innovative offensive system behind an awesome offensive line that helped him put up some nasty yardage totals. You can basically say the same for Warner, but he was more efficient when he was at his best.

Actually George Blanda made Houston and Billy Cannon was a RB for them then also. The Oilers were AFL champs in the 60 and 61.

I guess you could say that. Warren Campbell was the one who really put them on the radar though.
