for the most part. Went to albertsons last week before the game wearing my brees jersey, got tons of confused looks from people in cars driving by and then in the store. 1 cashier had a saints jersey on, no one else even had a shirt saints shirt or hat on. This week I go in the same store before the game, there must've been 20 or 25 Saints jersey's and 20 or 30 more either a shirt or hat. I'm from here and love the Saints, and knew that the Saints didn't have that great of a following, but I didn't think it was that bad.

Yeah, it's pretty bad. I wore my Saints shirt and hat last weekend, didn't see many wearing much.

You guys are going to pull a muscle with your bandwagon analysis.

Local Pro team doing something for the 1st time in history, and people of the state WILL gravitate to them. Most of them are people who don't know what a first down is. Big Deal.

The real funny thing about this is the diehards who are now complaining as if they should be rewarded for their loyalty. It's your moment in the Sun, and props to all you guys. Feel better?

Stop with the fricking bandwagon threads. Does it really bother you that much? I could care less who cheers for the Saints.

There's a ton of Saints fans in Baton Rouge. It's only about an hour from New Orleans plus a ton of Katrina evacuees live there.

that's so weird for BR grocery store folks to not be into wearing Saints stuff. My husband just got back from the grocery store here in Gulfport and said it looked like everyone in the store was wearing saints jersey's or black and gold stuff...including the workers. The coast has a pretty big LSU/Saints following

I know what you mean. Its like all of a sudden they heard the big News about the Saints being One game away from going to the Super Bowl. It is pretty bad..

You should have asked one of them what happen to Joe Horn?

I could care less. The more bandwagon the better. Who doesn't want an increased fan base? Buying up saints gear and supporting economy never a bad thing.

BR Hates NOLA just as Lafayette Hates BR. It is called penis envy.

Exactly. Wouldn't you want more people buying Saints gear? I have friends from Ohio that have no connections to Louisiana, but they wanted to see a game in the Superdome, so they're coming down today. You'd think Louisianians would want something like this.
