Shreveport = Saints Town

Even though a lot are bandwagon fans, but holy shite...Just went to Academy and everyone there was buying Saints shite. Most of them had a Saints shirt or hat on already.
I know Shreveport gets a bad rap for having Dallas fans, but I've said before that almost all of the people I know are Saints fans except for that fig Ron Mexico. Good to see all of the support.

2 of my only friends from Shreveport are Cowboys fans. But they support the Saints second.

A little off topic, but I live up here too. Have you notice that abundance of Bama flags and stickers that seem to be showing up? That has to be the damn Cowtard fans.

I know South Louisiana knocks shreveport for alot of shite and its warranted on some respects. Its a great town and i really wish it would try to act like at least 1/4 of the year that they want to belong in louisiana.

dude you are clueless man...i just said it was the same way even after dallas beat the saints and after they destroyed the eagles. i am well aware that there are bandwagon fans...see my 1st post. but if dallas was in the same situation it wouldn't be close to the same.

This is pitiful. You guys from down south don't care if we have been lifelong fans and supporters of the Saints. You care strictly about what other people in the town we are from do. I have never seen a fanbase try and eliminate lifelong fans based strictly on where they live and nothing else.

to be fair, i don't really care one way or the other about who people in shreveport root for. i just think the town (in general) has a typical bandwagon approach in sports, mostly due to the lack of teams in close proximity who have had long term success
if the saints would have had the cowboys success, and the cowboys had the saints failures, i don't think the cowboys would be nearly as big there
i spent alot time there as a kid and i just kept the same mentality ever since b/c i am really indifferent
i'm not trying to eliminate anyone
