He almost ran a .4.4. In high school. I watched him play several games. He can fly. Very aggressive.

We need him, Brockers, and Davenport to step up in a big way next year.

he is really light. He is going to have to put on some weight. He needs to get in the weight room. He seems like the ultimate speed and finesse rusher.

From what I'm hearing they all will step up, though CD may be moved to OT in the spring. I personally hope not because he has the size to dominate the interior. Brockers has a nice mean streak which should serve him well in the SEC trenches. SM is quicker off the ball than Alem and has the ability to beat many OT's he will face. Really reminds me of a young Gabe Northern.

Personally, I thought Sam could have played last year since Alem was not that much bigger than him. Alem played each down as a designated pass rusher and he did not an impact on the DL at all. He had a very disappointing senior year and lost lots of money regarding the draft. I wish him well in the pros. As for Sam, he will be a monster. He was beating upperclassmen in practice on pass protection. Coach Miles needs to get off this thing about upperclassmen should play first...he needs to play the best player at each position regardless of their classification for LSU to compete and win football games. That should be one of his new policies for this Spring and Fall. If Coach Miles can change the way he thinks, LSU will have a great year.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Davenport, Downs, and Brockers are the future of our d-line. Why would CD be moved when we have little depth at DT w/o him?
