Ravens got jobbed by the clock operator

9 seconds left on the play before the touchdown (the incompletion). After that play...there were 7 seconds left.....which gave the Colts enough time to take another shot at the endzone...No f'ing way that play only took 2 seconds......The Ravens coach was pissed...and I don't blame him....

even if it took 8 seconds it still means the same thing........they had time to score another touchdown. They may have been given more time but it wouldn't have run down the clock so it doesn't really matter.

Correct. There is no difference between there being 8 seconds on the clock and 1 second on the clock on the final play. The half doesn't end when the clock hits zero, it ends when the clock is at zero and the ball is dead.

No....with 4 seconds left..the Colts kick a field goal. With 7 seconds, they can take a shot knowing that there will be time left for the field goal if they don't get it....

It makes a huge difference with respect to what you do if you are the coach......If I have 7 seconds, I take a shot at the end zone. If I have 2 seconds, I kick the field goal....

nah... i thought so too.. but they had reset the clock to 11 seconds.. thanks to our announcers for taking their noses out of Peyton's arse long enough to point that out for us..
