How overrated is Texas if?

They make to the finals in basketball and lose there too. They already lost in Baseball and football so it seems possible them being ranked #1 in basketball it's shaping up to happen again.

Overrated? Are you retarded? 2nd in the 3 major sports would be awesome. Your program is right where you need it to be...

not overrated if you make it in baseball or basketball......you earned it because of the playoffs. It will be fricking hilarious if it happens and I hope it does.....

Yea it must suck to be the #2 team in 3 MAJOR college sports in the south.
I understand the whole "always a bridesmaid" debate... but come on, they have a damn good athletic program in Austin.

No school in the nation is anywhere close to what UT has going right now. shite, how many teams are even ranked in all three sports? I'm curious how many teams have finished a season with a BCS bowl game, a CWS appearance, and an Elite Eight. Might not have ever happened.

shite, I'd love for LSU basketball to get back to the Final Four. Couple that with a CWS final and a football MNCG? frick yes.
It would suck to lose, but you're still better than all but 1 school in every major sport.
Now, if you're tOSU and UF fricks you up in the two main sports that sucks

First off don't pretend you are in the SEC you don't play the competition they do. You may be in the south but don't try to ninja yourself in with the best. Yes it is good to make it to the finals in all major sports but remember 2nd place is the 1st loser. If you are cool with being 2nd by all means enjoy.

You are a ranter... get back on there and leave the real discussion to people who can respect a program that is above everyone right now as far as complete athletic product.

Actually no I wouldn't be pissing all over myself. Do you consider the Bills of the 90's a great franchise? They finished second constantly.
