we're gonna miss his talent and leadership. who steps up next as a leader on offense?

Lafell was a terrible locker room guy according to the players I talked to.

We had one leader on last years team and that was Sheppard. You need one in each position to be successful.

I liked LaFell. A lot of people left here as prima donnas thinking that they were above LSU (ex: D.Byrd). LaFell left here saying "I'll always be a Tiger." after coming back for a Senior year.

Lafell was good, but inconsistent...were not losing much at all with him, IMO Rueben Randle is going to be much better than JoJo...

I heard a lot more about it last year. He didn't get along w/ Mccarthy and would blatantly disobey him during drills at practice.

this is clearly bullshite. Charles Scott was every bit the leader Hester was. The biggest difference was who was handing the ball off to them.

I have a question then....How many times on 4th and short and hester was in the backfield did you ever think we werent gonna make it?

that kid would have died before he didnt make a first down...

I like chuck but the dude couldnt make a 4th and short to save his life...power back? please Hester was the real power back...he ran with purpose, passion and fricking attitude..

Great Tiger, but if you think our offense will suffer without him, you must be living back in 2008.

We actually can't drop any lower in total offense, so I don't see the issue.

The 4th and shorts might have something to do with the Olines?

Your opinion sucks. Lafell is one of the top 5 WR in the history of LSU football. We probably won't miss his production all that much because he had some bad QBs throwing him the ball the last 2 years, but we will certainly miss his getting open on every single play.

he very well may be, but that would make him one of the best handful of WRs to ever play in Baton Rouge
