My counter would be -
"Say a guy worked for you and he took a box of staples home. Would you not give him a second chance?"
This is an illogical straw man argument that has no bearing on the situation.

Some might disagree.
But getting back to Boone, his performance at the All American game and practice has attracted a lot of renewed interest. Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami are all on him now.

Given the past season - I would rather some recruits stretch it till the NSD (but definitely sign with us)
It would give us something else to discuss in a positive manner ,than if we had wrapped up all commitments by Dec.

not really, if you think the Ambles rumors have any merit.

I don't think I'm jumpin the gun Prom.
I said IF he has a good visit I think we land Boone.
There's a lot of things going our way. The scout article was full of things in our favor and I mean facts not quotes that can be skewed or repeated for each school.

In my untrained recruiting knowledge, it would be beneficial to get some taller WR's this year since the following 2011'ers are 6' or shorter:
Jarvis Landry
Levander Liggins
Brad Sylve
Odell Beckham
Devin Boutte

nigel king is about 6'3. WR from NC, whos an LSU lean.

Look for Blue(6'2) and Simon(6'4),to compete at WR. Simon will be a good one,if he qualifies. Boone,if added to that list, would give us a nice, very physical group, to go with skyscraper-Hunter.

I think if we have success next year and utilize our WRs then we could start pulling almost any WRs we want with Gonzales on the recruiting trail.
I think that's why we told King to wait. He's not an in-state guy and we want to see him at camp against some other guys. He's projected to be a solid 4 star but the sky is the limits I think going forward. Kids will eat up the "percy Harvin" deal as long as we show that we mean it.

I saw an interview with Wright last night. He sounded as if Coach Frank Wilson had made a big impression on him. Sounded as if he would be a Tiger.

I'm out of the high school know for the most part. Is that the BC coach?
By the way, Boone is coming in this weekend. He's the only receiver. I think they nail him down and then see who wants on board the following week of Fobbs, Wright, Reed.
Also coming in this weekend is Justin Parker so maybe we put the press on this weekend a bit. I like the aggressive nature of recruiting with Wilson and Gonzales on the staff.

I saw that interview with wright and it seems like TT is all but out for now. Talked very favorable about LSU.

Did he sleep with someone's wife?

Boone is much, much better than Wright BTW

Supposedly his coach's wife.

Yea I blew it with the Hunter thing. I fixed it.

I concur, not just because he's committed to Tech but I think Boone will be the more successful reciever. People from Florida talk about him like he is the next coming of Larry Fitz. Hard to go wrong with Wright though, I'd love to have them both.

And that is just one of the supposed detrimental actions he has committed. There just seems to be a lot of slime around this guy and the fact that USC pulled his offer because they did not want a guy like that around their program...well, that says a lot. The extra fact that Lane Kiffin is the only one that will touch this guy says even more.

Fobbs and Wright. Wright especially since the Kiffin disaster may knock Tenn out of his choices leaving LSU and Bama. I think we should just leave Reed alone. I understand that he is talented and I have seen his tape, and I also understand that LA is losing a player to an O.O.S. team. But it seems like the kid is getting frustrated. Fobbs and Wright.
