I know half the responses will be back-handed compliments like "les miles is a nice guy" or "the all you can eat buffets will surely turn a profit w/ stud and chavis back" but seriously. dig deep and come up with some damn strong reasons we'll be in atlanta next year. miles made his bed this year so i'm not going to waste my breath defending him b/c he has a lot to prove to all of us; that said i believe we can do it. i believe we win the west and go to the SECCG in 2010.

We don't have to watch them play for almost eight months.

RS will be bigger and stronger w/ the same moves. he'll be more durable and know what his role in the offense is. Gonzo will coach him up and he'll be our most explosive player.

The team should be better than the 2009 team, which in turn was better than the 2008. Improvement for two consecutive years is nothing to sneeze at. I'm not saying that the actual record will be better, because the schedule looks kind of difficult. I'm just saying the team itself should be of a higher quality, regardless of how the random bits of luck fall next year in helping to determine W's and L's.

Miles doesn't have a Hester or Scott to give the ball to all the time so hopefully it will be spread amongst the playmakers, but with RS getting twice as many touches per game than he did this year.

I love LSU football more than a coach, more than an offensive coordinator, more than an under achieving quarterback, more than I hate Alabama. I still get chills every time I walk into Death Valley no matter how many "issues" are going on with the program. Something positive about 2010? I will be able to get together with my best friends and get hammered on Saturday to watch a damn strong football team compete for victory! Prayers sent to UNC, GEAUX TIGERS!

Considering Jefferson NEVER HAD A MENTOR he's doing pretty good. He improves every game. People overlook the fact that unlike most QBs Jefferson never had someone to show him the ropes. Jefferson was thrown in the fire and he's making progress.

Like every new season, we all become optimists. By summer everyone will be pepped.

This season should be better than the previous two. No reason it shouldn't be.

Tigers will fly under the radar. No one will see them coming. Jefferson will be solid. The offense will be more productive (hey, it can't get any worse!) Chavis will have another yr to coach up the defense, esp. the LBs. Les, Gary and Chief will realize that they're on a hot seat and will really focus on making the team better. Favorable schedule. I see a great season on the horizon. Loads of talent on the roster. Bama is losing most of their defense. FL is losing Tebow. On the other hand, Auburn will be improved.
