What is this place like? I never been, thinking of going tonight.

They don't have a website?

Meh, decided to go to Little Village instead. The wife has been, but I haven't.

I'll hit up Marcello's eventually and give an Enadious-esque review.

Went there Saturday night (early evening around 6pm). Didn't have reservations, but we were early enough to get a table. Very nice atmosphere...small and quaint. Got the fried calamari for app and eggplant parmigiana for entree. Girlfriend got the veal molli (it had artichokes and was topped with a lemon butter sauce) which was absolutely delicious. We each had 2 glasses of wine and bill was around $80 before tip. Definitely will go back but seems like reservations is a must.

Also went Saturday night, food was OK. Our bill was about $60 with wine and dessert.

I got the "ceasar salad," but it's much more like a sensation salad. Little fried eggplant bites were good.

Also got the mac and cheese app as my entree... eh. Probably wouldn't order it again. It's runny. I expected a lot more depth of flavor- bacon, cheese, and truffle oil..but some how it managed to be bland.

Anna Tutta Panna looks much prettier in the 225 food review... and looks like it should taste better, too.

Tasted eggplant parm and it was fine.

I guess for the prices, it wasn't that bad. I'd still take LV or Monjuni's over it any day.

I agree. Both the parms (veal and chicken) are average IMO. The marsalas, on the other hand, are excellent.

Yea, me too as you know. BTW, the wine store is a work in progress. The plan is to eventually have some food/deli items. Kinda like Maxwells without the butcher.

I'll check out the Marsalas. They look packed every night.

The damn liquor store needs to be open past 7:00 on Friday and Saturday nights.

An Italian Deli is a really good idea.

I am not sure what the thinking is here.

Only ate there once, but totally enjoyed it. Loved our mac n cheese, thought the calamari was the best in BR (not saying much probably), and the duck was fantastic. I'm not even a duck fan most of the time. Would very much recommend this place.

They do a very nice job. Talented young chef and wines are well thought out and reasonably priced. Would not pass up the chance to go.

My wife and I finally ended up trying this place last night and it was a very enjoyable experience.

The place is pretty nicely decorated with an antiqued theme. The place was filled to brim, so we were glad we made reservations. There is no air of pretension that you sometimes find in fine dining places. I will say that may be because the tables are jammed fairly tight together which makes for a somewhat noisy setting. However, we were in a two seater up against a wall, so it wasn't a big deal.

The wines are very reasonably priced and my wife and I each ordered a glass to start. All tables get started off with some of their complimentary gourmet bread, which already has enough butter baked in to eat "as is". The bread was very good.

We opted for starter salads ($4 each) over an appetizer. I got the Italian house salad, which was very impressive. It had fresh Romano cheese and olive mix sprinkled on top with a flavorful oil and vinegar based dressing. My wife got the Caesar salad which I thought was fairly good, but not as delectable as the Italian house salad. Both salads come with their unique fried eggplant croûtons.

For my entrée, I got the seared duck ($26). It came with mushrooms and a truffle based sauce on spinach and a light goat cheese sauce. I order the duck medium and it was cooked to perfection! It was very flavored and I would highly recommend the dish to anyone who likes duck. My wife got the fish of the day ($24), which was snapper. It was pan sautéed in a lemon butter sauce. The fish comes with lemon-buttered spaghetti pasta with mushrooms and capers as a side dish. My wife thought the pasta was a tad dry. Overall, from a taste standpoint the fish dish was good, but I didn't think it was spectacular enough to warrant the price. We didn't get dessert, and I believe the only have three items.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. The service was very prompt and attentive, so no issues there. The total bill came in a $80+tip, which I didn't think was too bad. It helps that we each only a got one glass of wine. It is refreshing to go a locally owned restaurant that is well done and having success. We'll be a back!

My daughter and I ate there last night too. We started with the Bresaola app and I had the seasonal tomato salad. For entrees, I had the Halibut and she had the Shrimp Papate. Another great meal at Enoteca. I am going back tonight.
