Interesting. USF definitely has higher upside as a program, it's in an easier conference, it's already more tuned to his style, and it's obviously in a much nicer place to live.
But it'll be interesting to see if TT can pull off more upsets against OU and UT. He's a big name for that program.

I can't believe they went after a defensive minded coach... he won't allow throwing the ball the 50 times a game either. He's going to try to bring SEC football over there and not sure that will work for the type of recruits they can get

They'll get them and with defensive minded Pelini at Nebraska as well as the past two years of Big 12 teams losing to defensive coached SEC teams, the landscape is starting to change there. Back to some old smash-mouth, Big 8 type of football.

Told a TT shell wearing guy at the Sugar Bowl last week, that the TT on it, would be for Tommy Tubberville in the next few weeks..he hadn't heard of the TT interview at the time.
He is a nice catch for that school. They needed a name, TT was desperate, and both needing to move forward from their respective last fiascos.
But, if TT excels, he'll stepping-stone them, like Leach often flirted with behind the scenes.
