Looks Like Below Par Was Right After All

If all indications are correct regarding Crowton leaving, it looks like Below Par had the right information to begin with. I know it doesn't take anyone with inside information to think that Crowton needed to go and it wasn't a hard call to make, but I just wanted to give BP due credit, especially if anything comes of the Kragthorpe talk.
Anyway, I like his information and wanted to thank him for his annual contribution to this board. Has he been wrong yet?

And he'll never be back to get the pat on the back if this all plays out. We've had some real assholes on this board the last few weeks.

He said he wasn't sure... take him off the fricking pedestal.

been hoping so the whole time

I don't have him on a pedestal. I've read his predictions since 2007 and he is the one poster who continually gets it right. How many have come out and said that Crowton is staying? A lot of people. I know that BP backed off a bit, but his initial prediction appears to be correct.
And, regarding the Chavis thing, from what I understand, Chavis WAS seriously considering leaving. I wouldn't have minded if he had, but BP was right about that too.

Well if reports are true that the taf made miles fire crowton then he was wrong. Miles was intending on keeping him

I doubt Alleva said no you can't fire crowton after what he witnessed this season

There are a lot of moving pieces. What's true one day, might not be the next. What he's giving the board is what he hears from his sources. If they turn out to be wrong, then through no fault of his own, the information he provides turns out to be wrong. He provides some insight that most don't have privledge to. Right or wrong, I enjoy reading his scoops b/c he's proven to a least have some inside knowledge.
He makes the board better. Little dick fricktards like you make it worse.

Where are these reports TAF forced Miles to Fire Crowton? Reports I have seen only indicate TAF asked Alleva to accelerate the process.
You are trying to get from Baton Rouge to Miami by driving to Chicago. Can't do it Bro'

quote:OMG Obama could have wanted him gone but the entire point was that his buyout was too much. Hopefully TAF took care of that.

The only thing is that Crowton may only be part of the problem and the real problem may lie in the head coach. The head coach usually starts firing assistant coached on a sinking ship to help save his job.

I still pull for Les but after the last two years it's seems apparent that Les tries to mask his inadequacies by playing musical chairs with his assistants.
But watch - whomever the assistants we'll still take on his identity which is ? ? ?
