I know we were 11th is the SEC this year, but I am 37 yrs old and don't think I can remember a worse rushing team LSU has fielded. We have had issues passing and stopping people on defense (Tepper, co-coord.) but have always been able to run the ball. I am thinking this team has to be near the bottom in rushing stats at LSU historically. I see we have 3 lineman coming in 2010 class, do we have some quality O-line on the bench waiting to come in. What changes can we expect for next year to improve our rushing?

It's not just the line, but the playcalling and coaching that is of issue here.

so why did we run so well last year? same coaching, same backs... worse line, not a reliable fullback? Sometimes when all you have is chicken shite, all you can make is chicken shite salad.

There were games this year where we were establishing a running game and then we just stopped running plays. I could never make rhyme or reason out of why Crowton did that.

There are many things that Crowton did that made no sense. He tried to establish a running game, but the problem is he was very predictable when he was going to run by either formation or personnel on the field.

Crowton's performance this past year was downright awful. Vanilla as hell.

I have recently learned, LSU is only unable to run the football on wet sloppy field condidions. Everything else was a myth.

Our offensive line and lack of running game is the root cause of all our offensive issues.

We your are constantly in 3rd and 7 plus, its tough.
