I think we screwed up by letting this kid go. Not to mention the way we let him go!......Looks like a beast on film and today at the AA Game practice he looked real good......

No we did not screw up in letting him go. There's a reason so many schools including us backed off on him.

Trust me, have a great source who talks to his coach (or old coach I guess).

I think the kid will be a star where ever he goes, too bad it won't be at LSU. I don't know why some folks on various boards felt the need to bad mouth the kid, he is a stud. The way things went down, I'm not too familiar with, but the coaching staff should have done everything in their power to keep him. Unless I hear a valid reason to think otherwise, it was a big mistake.

Put it this way, he's a me-first guy who was a slacker at practice.

The reason he transfered schools is because his old coach started a guy with a lot less talent in front of him because he practiced a lot harder than Storm did.

did he visit? did he commit? If he did then we are at fault....you do not allow someone of his talent to visit unless you plan on signing them....or at the least taking the commit that was extended.....

I know Storm and his family. He is not a ME player. Many coaches were told this by his former high school coaches to keep his status and recruitment low and difficult. If you talked to anyone in the entire town of Loganville you would get thousands of people who would say different. He wanted to commit to LSU. Came to do that on his birthday. they knew he was coming and why, but decided when he got there different. Coach Miles told him he would not accept his committment because he felt LSU had a chance to get Sistrunck and Storm's committment would make that difficult. Storm and his parents thought Storm a good enough player that he did not have to be placed on hold. So they proceeded to look elsewhere. Too bad for LSU, he looks real good at AA practice. He also had second fastest time in skills. He will compete on TV tomorrow. Your loss LSU.
