Most important 2011 recruit?

Is Teddy Bridgewater the most important recruit for LSU next year.
We really need a dual treat QB to correctly run the spread or open offense.

if we get Freak and Collins..which we should obviously, I will be thrilled

Chavis loves to drop 20 into coverage on 3rd down hence "3rd and Chavis". Due to this, I would think a legitamite pass rushing DE like Rasco would be the biggest priority. There is a plethora of DT's in the state next year with as many as 5 that will be 4 stars or better. I think Rasco is the biggest need.

I think that an argument could be made for Rasco, pass rushing de that will probably be the toughest pull in state;Johnson, great talent at a position that you always need good players;Collins, top talent at ot which is always necessary;Landry, top talent at a position of great need for next year.Out of state i think the most important player i think is Anthony Wallace, one of the top lb's in the country. We are getting really thin at LB and need to add some playmakers at that position.LB is one position that we haven't had a lot of success getting top talent.

Honest question. Is Rasco too small for the next level? His measurables seem small to me.

Rivals lists him at 6'3 227. He looks bigger than that already and he's still in high school. Scout lists him at 6'4 244. I'd say there is nothing to worry about.

With Peterson possibly going into the draft after next season, there is gonna be a big drop in the cornerback position. Janzen Jackson was supposed to be his replacement but he flipped at the last second making Claiborne(athlete) our best CB commit for that class. We need a serious push to get a top CB recruit or we will be counting on Claiborne and Mathieu to lock down the receivers.

No offense but people get so caught up in measurables these days that they forget about the football aspect. Ever heard of Elvis Dumervil?
There are plenty of DEs who have been successful without perfect Marvin Williams' measureables. Rasco is one of the strongest kids at this point in his career that you'll ever see. His lower body strength is just staggering (ala Dumervil). Rasco will be a stud in college just like in high school.

2011 Exhibit A: Jabriel Washington. Check him out.

Mathieu supposably has some academic issues, so i wouldn't ink him in just yet. He's going to be a great corner when he gets here though.

Maybe Miles could return the favor and pull the best CB out of Tennessee. Hopefully this kid doesn't feel the need to stay close to home. I hope he puts on a bit more bulk before arriving on campus if he chooses LSU. I don't think a true freshman CB will make much of an impact against SEC receivers at 5'11" 165.

Claiborne was underrated. Dude is a freak. Mathieu is rated as the #1 cover cb in this years class. Don't forget about Simon, Vinson, and a few other guys who are no slouches.
As mentioned earlier.. Washington

So according to Jabriel, he said that in no order his top 3 at the moment are UT, Lsu, and Uga. He's liking that the chief pretty much guaranteed early playing time on D, but i think that if UT suggests early playing time on O he won't be able to resist that. His goal is to play offense in college, so we'll see.

From seiing Rasco on television against the team from Arkansas he looked very big.Evangel has some impressive lokking kids and he looked the most impressive physically.JMO.Jabriel Washington like LSU a lot and I think we have a great shot at him. From my sources it's a Tenn/UGA/LSU battle.
