How about getting rid of the damn Leno show...hes murdering Conan along with other NBC shows. Conan should go to Fox like he was going to do 5 years ago when NBC panicked and gave him the tonight show.

NBC just needs to be patient. Conan is better than anyone who they could replace him with.

Leno at 9 has killed everything after that.
This was a terrible idea by NBC. All in charge should be fired. They wanted to fire Leno while not letting another network have him. In the process they destroyed their 9 o'clock hour, killed their affiliates new time, and destroyed 10:30.
Nicely done.
Leno has actually bounced up a tiny bit in the ratings the past couple of weeks, but it has only been a tiny bounce. He has at least averaged over the 1.5 threshold they promised advertisers. Still weak as hell overall.
Not much they can do since it is not like they have a backup plan in place. I could see them moving Jay back to 10:30. He has already stated he would be willing to do that.
Conan would be the odd man out as there is no way he would just fall back to 11:30, but given his dismal numbers, I don't see anyone giving him a 10:30 show.

I am pretty sure Leno is killing Conan. I agree that Conan's cult following worked better later.
But, the only advertising NBC does is for Leno. No one watches Leno anymore especially at that time. So he doesn't provide a good lead like he used to for Conan.

So, you have two shows performing extremely well at 11pm and 12am. You shift them to 10pm and 11pm and the ratings tank. Same hosts, same basic format.
Does it take a rocket scientist to figure out what went wrong?
The 10pm show is drawing in just enough of an audience to have shitty ratings while cannibalizing the audience of the 11pm show. Get rid of Leno's show.
