Statistically Brees is better. If you take away Brady's Madden-like 2007 season his stats are merely above average, however the guy knows how to win games and that can't be measured with statistics.

Brady is better because he didn't suck balls for his first three seasons like Brees did. San Diego actually drafted a quarterback #1 in '04 even when they had a ton of needs because Brees sucked that badly. Now at their best, it's a tossup. Brees has an unbelievably quick release and does a great job with his reads. I love the way Brady operates in the pocket. His footwork is absolutely impeccable. If I had to choose one, I would go with Brady. He put up good numbers with no #1 receiver until Moss came along. Deion Branch, David Givens, David Patten and others have done nothing since leaving New England. Brady also didn't have the luxury of throwing the ball in a dome eight times a year. So, I would give the slight edge to Brady.

Brady..but you can be crazy and think Bree's.

Brady still has a statistical advantage I believe...ever so slightly though.

That is so stupid. Brady is racking up stats as well as Championships.

It always amazes me how people can calculate the play of 52 other people into the whatever formula they use to decide who's a better QB.

You could apply that theory to pretty much anything in life then...

O, forgot my answer...BRADY

Brees is better than Brady.

The point is, making the playoffs and super bowl is a team effort, making plays, which statistics reflect, are more accurate of an individual play.

the most important stats posted on that chart is the TD/INT ratio, which Brady clearly has and edge in, so....Brady

While Colston is great and Meachem is emerging this year, I really don't think the saints have had a #1 receiver since Brees has been here.

True, but Brady did miss 15 games last year, so that party accounts for his INT being a little lower than Brees. Also, take out 2007, and I think Brees has a pretty clear advantage, albeit slight.
