3 comments/questions:

1. How good is this kid supposed to be? Has decent size, but nothing earth-shattering?

2. Heard elsewhere that LSU coaches were in Thibodaux recently, presumably to recruit TR, but maybe it was to offer Greg?

3. Does this offer have ANYTHING to do with Trovon Reed, or is this guy good enough to get an offer this early even if TR wasn't at his HS and we weren't thin at WR in this class? I don't mean to knock him...I really know ZERO about him. shite, he could be one of the top 5 players in the state next year for all I know.

TIA.

Projections on him? What was his number? I don't remember anyone on Thibodaux's line standing out in the WM game. Hunter, Allen, and Burdeaux were in the backfield all night.

He is expected to visit with Les Miles Friday.

He could be a commit before we know it then.

imo he is the 2nd best OL in the state for this class and when collins is the best, the 2nd best is pretty good. would definitely take him over white from capitol or austin, and they are both not bad either. hopefully we take 3, but if we just get collins and robinson those are a sweet pair of bookends

This kid is pretty legit. Between him, Corey White and La'el Collins LSU wont have to leave the state next year for O-line

We possibly could satisfy all our line needs in-state with those two guys on O and Rasco, Johnson, Thomas, and Hunter on D. In-state prospects in the trenches are looking very good.

I would agree with there being one exception: Sedrick Flowers.

Congratulations Greg it's always nice to see some bayou boys getting love from LSU.

BUT, I must say this does show how down the state is on talented linemen. Greg Robinson is NOT better than Jordan Mills who came out of the bayou area a couple years ago. Mills was bigger stronger and had much more of a mean streak than Robinson, he did everything he could to get a LSU offer and never did, and Robinson gets offered as a junior.

Robinson is a nice project though, he does have a great frame, good feet and plenty of upside.
