I've been expecting some news on this ever since that article linked on the front page quoted Miles as saying that some "committee" was supposed to rule this morning between 8 & noon whether or not they could use the 3 coaches splitting up 2 coaches' duties plan.
Good work getting the word. Committe must have shot down that plan.

He says Porter is not allowed to coach in the bowl by the NCAA. I think it may be that Porter wasn't allowed to coach in the bowl if both Gonzales and Wilson were coaching and/or recruiting.
Probably all for the best. Porter can concentrate on his new HC position and the two new coaches can concentrate on recruiting and some coaching for the bowl game.
