I find it to be the opposite. When I was a senior at a private high school I only needed two classes to meet louisiana's high school grad requirements. I was required to take 8 classes by the school.
What you're talking about is public school dummies who are fighting tooth and nail their senior year to get enough credits to graduate. That's the students fault.
