Kelly to ND if Nebraska had won?

If the Texas field goal sailed wide it would be Alabama vs. Cincinnati for the BCS National Championship. Does Kelly pass at a chance (maybe once in a lifetime) to coach his team in the NC and pass on the ND offer (maybe once in a lifetime?)

Man, I don't know if ND would have waited - think of the loss in recruiting time and PR spin-time

Well, then, he'd have to do what Miles did, and tell them no. You don't pass up the chance to coach in the national title game. If he told Notre Dame no, I'm sure he could get a better job the following year if he wanted it....coaching in the national title game and all

Miles denied Michigan rumors before the SEC championship game and the Pitt/West Virgina game. He did not know we would be playing in the BCS title game at that time.
