I know Alem is gone, but I have to think the coaching staff is hiding something. Within the past couple of days Lemonier, Delvin Jones, and now Geneo Grissom have all gotten attention.

Already with a commitment of Jordan Allen and Bates(who we all feel is gone), we also have:
SO. - Chancey Aghayere
FR. - Michael Brockers
SO. - Chase Clement
SR. - Lezarius Levingston
FR. - Bennie Logan
FR. - Sam Montgomery

With Ego Ferguson in the picture as well, as well as Rasco being a very high possibility next year, we are very young at that position. It's not like we need to reload there, so what is the deal?

Perhaps 1 or 2 will be moving inside?? Possibly Clement moving to offense?? Just guesses.

I think one or two of those guys beef up and get moved inside. We will always take game changing speedster at the end position. Always.

Wasn't it Brockers that showed up at about 285? Wasn't out of shape either. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what I was thinking, but didn't want to put it out there without being sure.

Yeah, it was him. And I think Bennie could add some serious size.

Yes, Brockers moved inside for this year and they were "deciding" whether or not it was permanent.

Okay, looking at this, and you forgot Lavar Edwards.

Ag, Edwards, Montgomery, Pep - ALL DEs
Logan, and Brockers are both DTs

Clement is up in the air, but I think they may look to move him to TE this year.

Many think Jordan Allen will get moved to OT.

That's depth, but not outrageously so.

I still think he get's looked at inside depending on the other guys' development.

Brockers looked like a Greek God when he got to campus. If we move this guy inside then we're gonna regret it. He's a Marquise Hill type DE and it'd be a shame to move him inside.

Brockers and Logan have both seen practice time inside and CC has continued to work with the offense occasionally. We'll find out come spring anyway.

I think Ag may get looked at inside first. Edwards has at least shown the ability to be explosive off the edge. Ag... not so much.

We don't run a "Marquise Hill" type scheme any more.

Look at the guys we are recruiting. Smaller, faster types on the outside.

If BRockers keeps adding good bulk he could be a John Henderson type in the middle (I say that only because of height).

Brockers is a SS DE. If we have to play him as a DT in a 4-3 system,it will show how bad we've recruited DT's the last few years IMO.

To me those all are just bodies

Clement will be moved to TE so DeAngelo Peterson can move to WR

Brockers has moved inside

Pep has been mediocre

Aghayare is young but hasn't shown anything

Bennie Logan And Montgomery haven't played yet so there ability is still up in the air from a fans perspective. But I wonder how the coaches feel about them

Edwards is the only one who has shown the ability to make plays so far from this group

So you have one and a half ( pep) players for the group next year

EGO will play both DE and DT his first year here, kinda how Dorsey did

Grissom is a homebody. Expect him to stay there

Lemonier is a Nole lock. And as soon as they hire a DC he will commit within time

Justin Parker is a name to watch. He's Been told he will be used exactly how K Shep has been used. Blitzing outside. Playing OLB as well as MLB

Agreed. I know our scheme is different but who doesn't need a 6'6 DE who can collapse the pocket? Two speed guys flying upfield each play will just open us up to counters, off-tackles and mobile QBs. You need someone who can hold the force and Brockers can still move well; it's not like he's some statue.

I also don't think the Clement to TE move is that slam dunk just yet. Peterson has looked good there and Clement has shown more pass rush than most if not all of our DL. I'd like to see what he can do there in the future.

I see there not being much attrition at tackle and D end positions since they all young..i see it like this

DT
Nevis
Levingston
Downs
Davenport
Brockers
J.Allen ( can easily bulk up to 290 )

DE.Rush
Clement
Montgomery
Mingo

DE.STong
Edwards
Agahayere
Logan

Thats the 3 deep for me...Im guessing no more Hicks, and i only see Allen, possible guys like Ferguson, Etc staying on that side...Marsh and Blackmon at some point all play offense..
