How bad are they piling up now? what is the current list of injuries. Seems like it has become a mile long!??!?

Offense is till in good shape except for Moore being out. Meacham's emergence has covered that nicely.
ETA: Heath Evans has hurt, too. Not getting much push on short yardage runs (4th & 1 Sunday)
I'm getting worried about the D. Greer and Porter (starting corners) and Gay (first back-up) are still out. Our run D is like night and day without Fujita. The D-line is much better with Sed back, but still got gashed Sunday.
Considering we might face some decent RBs (Peterson, Hightower, Jacobs) and QBs (Favre, Warner, McNabb/Vick, Eli) in the playoffs, we need the D to get healthy and the O-line to stay healthy.

You think a mobile QB won't give us problems? Watch what Freeman does before he throws his 5 picks. Eli isn't bad when he has time. Dude's got a ring.

to say Vick is a "good" QB at this point is stupid...he has been out of football for 2 years and hasnt gotten his mobility back yet.
As for Eli, well you saw what happened to him a few weeks ago in the dome, he has not lived up to that big contract this year.
As for Freeman, were you not watching the game 2 weeks ago?

Greer and Porter will probably be back by Dallas. Certainly for the playoffs. Gay has a bad hamstring injury apparently, which means it could be the playoffs before he is back.
Fujita...I have no idea. I don't expect him back until the playoffs at the earliest, and we really need him. Dunbar's injury is probably minor. We need either of those guys back, because Evans is brutal.

i dont understand whats going on with greer. it started out as a minor injury that shouldve been maybe 2 weeks and back for new england. its now been over a month with no real updates. wtf is going on

I honestly believe we are strictly waiting for these guys to get back to 100%. I had heard Greer could have been back for Washington, but that game wasn't suppose to be close. I wouldn't be shocked to see him play this week and would be highly surprised to see him miss the Dallas game. With the Vikings losing, we have one priority, get everyone we can to 100% even if it means sacrificing an undefeated season. If Greer comes back, I feel confident enough in our defense to win out. I agree about Evans being brutal though. Hopefully Dunbar is back strong next week and a staph infection surgery isn't too serious for Fujita.

Top 11 tacklers on D:
Jonathan Vilma 82
Roman Harper 82
Scott Shanle 61
Darren Sharper 51
Tracy Porter 43 (out)
Scott Fujita 38 (out)
Jabari Greer 38 (out)
Will Smith 36
Malcolm Jenkins 34
Charles Grant 32
Anthony Hargrove 32
Having 3 of the top 7 out really hurts. Vilma is banged up, too.

Payton said this morning on Sirius thay he expects Greer back soon. He said he was questionable this past week and is getting closer. Honestly I think they're just being cautious with him.....He said Porter would likely be back for the last two games.

Groin injuries are notoriously difficult to judge as to how long a player will be out. I think they are being cautious with Greer. It makes no sense to rush him back when they have played so well.
If we were 7-4, I would bet Greer would have played in Wash.

However, We escaped this weekend with no new injuries...
The Vikings meanwhile lost starting middle linebacker EJ Henderson for the season to a broken leg.
