Precious

I thought it was incredibly average. Sure, it was a bad situation, but the movie really didn't make me "feel" the situation. In a movie like Mystic River, I could "feel" Sean Penn's pain....but that didn't happen in this movie.

Precious: 6/10 at best imo.

I was very impressed with Monique's role as the mother of Precious.

If oprah said smelling shite was cool, a ton of people and critics would be rubbin shite in their faces sayin how great it is. movies like this is some tired poor ol me shite. Cry me a frickin river my mom fricked someone and we ended up poor. It's called responsibility. If these people are so tired of being poor, quit frickin guys unprotected and finish school like the rest of us, then you wouldn't have to work 3 jobs. Other than that I have no idea what the movie is about lol

I was really wanting to see it after I saw preview for it, but after talking to people that have seen it, all I've heard is the same response. You feel awful when you leave the theater...Is it still worth seeing or should I skip this one?
