I think the offense will be good enough to do so......

Pitching? Suspect.

Ranaudo is gonna go like 25-0 with 20 no hitters and 10 perfect games.

We are close to the top this year. Our Offense should be excellent. We have a great closer and one great starter. If we can find 1-2 more Starters then we could do it.

mainieri doesn't find pitchers, he develops them. by the middle of the SEC season you'll see a couple of good one come on the scene

I think you will be pleasantly suprised. Pitching is not going to have another superstar in Coleman, but will much deeper and more expierenced.

So you are saying we wont have a single superstar pitcher?

No, Ranaudo and Coleman were superstars last year...

In 2010 Ranaudo will be the only "superstar" until someone starts to dominate the way he has.

Ranaudo is the obvious ace. Also, look for Austin Ross to continue to develop and i've been high on the kid Matulis since he got here. W/ Matty Ice as closer, our rotation should be okay

Good point. Plenty of nice young arms to develop.

Oh ok gotcha, I wasnt sure if you were saying we wouldnt have another as in, a single one, or wouldnt have another to complement the one we have

Cuz Ranaudo is gonna be lights out.

Another point: Did anyone before last year expect Ott or even Jones to become as dominant as they were without throwing a single college pitch?

Remember at the beginning of the season last year with all the rantards saying:

"WTF is Maineiri thinking hiring Grewe as pitching coach!!!"

I'm not even sure if Jones plays in 2010, because of shoulder. We will see.

Tickets usually go on sale mid April-early May, it fluctuates from year to year.

If Texas can hit at all, they win it. They remind me of Rice from '03 with the ridiculous amount of pitching coming back.
