It will be expected from this point on that quarterbacks must pump fake, look one way then throw another, etc.

It's going to be really entertaining in the coming years to see other humans try to mimic Drew Brees.

Do you remember when the Saints used to play Joe Montana? I remember sitting in the Dome watching the Saints play the 49ers and if JM was given a little time my exact words under my breath were, "oh frick", just before the ball left his finger tips. Usually the ball was headed for Rice, Taylor, or Craig.
I think Brees is a little more athletic than JM, however both are 6 feet tall, very good supporting cast and have pinpoint accuracy with the football. Brees is JM 2.0.

With a league full of Drew Brees', the NFL will have to let defenses have 14 men on the field.

Yes, Drew Brees is the first quarterback ever to utilize the pump fake and look off his primary receiver. The evolution of the quarterback is finally taking place. THANK YOU DREW BREES.

they can mimic him all they want. but until they learn to survey the entire field and then fire a pinpoint pass that is on the money, all they are is fakes. watching it and doing it are different things. brees reminds me of joe montana and he's the only qb i've said that about.

The NFL is really going toward spread offenses.

We go 5 wide A LOT more than you'd have seen 10 years ago..hell, even 5 years ago.

So you think there's going to be a big demand for short QBs with average arm strength?

now I know you are just trying to rile things up. It has been mentioned multiple times in your troll threads that the saints have a better run game statically

No one RB on the Saints roster may be as good as Peterson, but the group as a whole holds its own just fine thank you.
